The #10 Highland men's basketball team continued their stretch on away from home on Monday night and picked up an 86-59 win over the University of Saint Mary (KS) JV in Leavenworth.

After three straight games shooting under 40% from the floor the Scotties put together a solid offensive performance on the road shooting 46.7% from the field on their way to the win over the Spires. Highland worked to a 40-28 lead by halftime and added to that lead ultimately in the second half going on to get four double figure scorers to pace the way for the 86-59 win.

On top of shooting 46.7% from the floor the Scotties had only eight turnovers and went 17-21 from the free throw line, while on the defensive side of the ball Highland held Saint Mary to 38.2% shooting and forced 17 turnovers.

Marquise Milton continued to highlight the Scotties as he posted his third straight 20+ point performance finishing with 20 points on 7-14 shooting and 6-6 from the free throw line. While, Rashon Johnson and Dylan Vincent each chipped in 14 points, as Johnson added eight rebounds and Vincent tallied seven assists. Aguek Deng recorded his second double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

The win moves the Scotties to 8-2 on the season and the season will continue for Highland on Sunday, December 1^st on the road at 6:00pm when they take on Ottawa University JV in a makeup game from the cancelled contest on November 16^th.
