The Northeastern Plainsmen headed down to Garden City, Kansas and walked away from the match with a 0-0 draw. Sho Nakayama was named the DDC Player of the Contest. Nakayama had an extremely strong defensive performance during the match, helping to hold the Conquistadors to no goals during the contest. 

Samuele Neri had a strong performance between the sticks for the Plainsmen, as he accumulated 7 saves during the contest. The Plainsmen need to continue working on finishing their chances on goals for the rest of the season. They are back in action again at Lamar Community College on October 5th.
