The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's volleyball team swept the Ottawa University JV team Sep. 20 at the Johnson County Community College Tournament in Overland Park, Kan. The Blue Devils have now won five matches in a row as they will head into Saturday's matches against No.4 Kirkwood Community College and Northeast Community College.

The Blue Devils took each set with scores of 25-18, 25-15 and 25-14. Tatianna Murray led the team with 10 kills from her 24 total attempts. Veronica Rolando currently leads DII NJCAA Women's Volleyball in services aces with 57. Rolando was able to add seven in the match against the Braves JV as well as 20 assists. Briazia Osborne had seven assists and two digs. Mercedez Brown had a team high 13 digs and recorded five kills from her 24 total attempts. Geme Ajekwu, Nykeriah Allen and Murray all recorded two block assists.
