No. 1 NIACC bounces back with 85-75 win
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - The No. 1 NIACC men's basketball team topped No. 19 Highland CC (Kan.) 85-75 on Saturday at the JCCC Classic.
NIACC, which dropped its first game of the season Friday against Johnson County CC, wrapped up its 2019 portion of the schedule with a record of 12-1.
Sophomore Trey Sampson led four NIACC players in double figures with 16 points. Also for the Trojans, James Harris scored 15 points and Deundra Roberson and Wendell Matthews both scored 14 points.
NIACC returns to action Jan. 4 at home against Iowa Western.
