The Central Community College women's soccer team lost at Pratt (Kan.) Community College, 1-0, on Saturday.

Pratt's Amaya Myers scored an unnassisted goal 14 minutes into the first half and the 1-0 lead stood the rest of the way.

Despite the shutout, CCC head coach Jamie Bennett praised his squad.

"As a whole, the girls really played hard," said Bennett. "We made one mistake which led to their goal and we need to find a way to generate more offense. Overall, I love the fight in these girls and how hard they played."

The loss gives CCC a mark of 0-3-1.

The Raiders will return to action on Saturday with a road venture at Hesston (Kan.) College. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m.

CCC was scheduled to host Highland (Kan.) Community College on Thursday. However, the game has been postponed.
