EL DORADO, Kan. – No. 19 Butler picked up its fourth win in a row, defeating Colby 71-51 at the Power Plant on Wednesday evening.
Four of Butler's (21-5, 16-4 KJCCC) starters scored in double figures as they cruised to a regular season sweep of the Trojans (9-17, 5-15).
Deuce Drake led Butler with 18 points, shooting 6-9 from the field. Jamichael Stillwell and Kaleb Washington each added 11 points and Charles McClennahan Jr. had 10 points. Stillwell pulled down 11 rebounds for a double-double. Amare Haynie added nine points off the bench on 4-4 shooting and Christian Richardson had seven points and seven rebounds.
Colby never led in the game with Butler jumping out to an early 17-4 lead in the first half. The Grizzlies held Colby to 33.3% (19-57) shooting from the field.
Colby's Raphael Nagau-Trouart was the lone Trojan to score in double figures as he had a game-high 21 points.
The Grizzlies return to action on Saturday at Indy with a 4 p.m. tipoff.
