The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team destroyed the Highland Community College Scotties, 84-54 Feb.15 at Park University in Parkville, Mo. The Blue Devils currently sit under Johnson County Community College in the KJCCC standings with a conference record of 9-2. Allen Community College is in third place with a conference record of 6-5. 

Both Camron Williford and BJ Stewart finished with 18 points and combined for 12-19 from the field. Williford recorded four rebounds, three assists and three steals on top of his impressive shooting day. Stewart brought down a team-high six rebounds and went for a perfect 6-6 from the free-throw line. Pierce Ross had an electric 12 points first half shooting 4-9 from the floor but would finish with just 14 total points.  

For the game, the Blue Devils shot 31-64 from the field (48.4%), 6-23 from three-point range (26.1%) and 16-21 from the free-throw line (76.2%). The Scotties shot 22-58 from the field (37.9%), 1-13 from three-point range (7.7%) and 9-11 from the free-throw line (81.8%). 

The next game for the Blue Devils is against the Hesston College Larks at 7:30 p.m. Feb.19 at Metropolitan Community College – Penn Valley in Kansas City, Mo.
