
MANHATTAN, Kan. – Playing in their second tournament of the spring, the KCKCC men's golf team placed in a tie for fourth place with Barton County Tuesday at Colbert Hills Golf Course. The tournament was the first conference tournament of the spring between 10 teams.
The Blue Devils shot a score of 936 after improving their score by four strokes on day two.
Josh Killingsworth posted his second straight top 10 performance at 5-over-par 221 to take 10th overall. Jack Stuckey followed with a 21st place finish and Turner Depperschmidt took 27th.
Parker Vancampen placed 30th over the course of two days, while Josiah Morris placed 33rd. Nate Saporito rounded out the team with a top 40 finish at 39th.
Dodge City and Hutchinson were the tournament winners as they tied for a score of 865. Hutchinson's Blake Saffel won the tournament with a 6-under-par.
KCKCC returns to the links on Monday and Tuesday at the Deuce At National Golf Club in Parkville, Mo.
