
The Central Community College women's soccer team was defeated by Johnson County Community College Tuesday evening in the second round of the playoffs, 3-0.
Johnson County got off to a good start, with Jenna Knight scoring in the first six minutes assisted by Karsen Koehler. The game went 25 minutes in a back-and-forth battle after the early goal, but right before halftime, the Cavaliers scored two more goals in to make the score 3-0.
The second half saw the Raiders play with some heart, but they were unable to score, giving the shut-out win to Johnson County.
The CCC women's soccer team's season comes to an end at 13-4-2, a fantastic season for head coach Jamie Bennett and team.
