Beaver Men's Soccer Advance to Region 6/9 Tournament

The Pratt Community College men's soccer team wrapped up their regular season with a 1-0 win against the Central Community College-Columbus Raiders on Wednesday, October 23. The Beavers finished the regular season with an overall record of 6-7-1 and a conference record of 6-5-1. After missing last season's NJCAA region six/nine tournament the former back-to-back NJCAA region six champions are set to return to the postseason this week, October 31 as the number four seed. The Beavers will travel to Chanute, Kan. for a Halloween showdown with the Neosho County Community College Panthers. Gametime is set for 5:00 p.m.

The No. five ranked Panthers are the first seed in the region 6/9 tournament with a 14-1-2 record. The previous two matchups between the Beavers and Neosho took place on September 7 (5-2 L) and October 2 (4-0 L). Neosho County have drawn with two opponents this season that the Beavers have defeated including Allen County Community College and Central Community College-Columbus.

The Beavers would advance to the finals of the NJCAA region six/nine tournament with a win and would face the winner of Johnson County Community College and Central.
