
The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball fell to the Johnson County Community College Cavaliers, 77-41 Feb. 8 in Overland Park, Kan. Destiny Ochs was able to match her career-high with 13 points as she shot 5-11 from the field and drilled two three-pointers.
Zoe Clark was the other Blue Devil to finish with double figures as she made six free throws and had 10 points and brought down a team-high six rebounds. The Blue Devils remain in fifth place in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference behind Johnson County, Allen, Highland and Neosho County. There are just five games remaining in the regular season for the Lady Blue Devils.
For the game, the Lady Blue Devils shot 14-44 from the field (31.8%), 3-12 from three-point range (25%) and 10-15 the free-throw line (66.7%). The Cavaliers shot 25-58 from the field (43.1%), 11-29 from three-point range (37.9%) and 16-24 from the free-throw line (66.7%).
