
KANSAS CITY, KANSAS -- The ECC bats were quiet as the Panthers lost both games of a twinbill with Kansas City Kansas CC on Saturday, 11-2 and 8-1.
Game one saw the Panthers trailing 11-0 before they scored twice in the 5th inning. The ECC offense consisted of singles by Maddy Harding, Elli Han and Lilea Prahm and a double by Gracie Pierce. Harding and Allison Paulsen drove in the runs and they were scored by Pierce and Prahm. Taryn Cory pitched all 4 innings, giving up six earned runs.
Ellsworth collected 7 hits in the second game from 7 different players. Kendra Rohner's home run accounted for the lone run. Han had a double. Angelica Agro struck out 5 in going the distance in the circle.
ECC plays 2 games at Metropolitan CC on Sunday.
