
The Pratt Community College volleyball team traveled to Concordia, Kan. on Saturday, Sept. 28 to face the T-Birds of Cloud County Community College. For the first time since 2017, the Beavers emerged victorious 3-1 against Cloud County.
The game started off with Pratt taking the first two sets 26-24, 25-23 but the T-Birds fought back in the third set, winning 27-25. However, Pratt regained their momentum and secured the 3-1 win in the fourth set 25-20.
Pratt's Savana Johnson led the team with 13 kills, while Francesca Battaglia contributed 9 kills and 4 aces. Rylie Hallman had an impressive performance with 33 assists and 2 aces.
The Beavers will travel to El Dorado, Kan. on Wednesday, Oct. 2 to face the Butler Community College Grizzlies. The game is set for a 6:30 p.m. tipoff.
