Volleyball Opens 2014 Campaign With 2 Wins

The Tyler Junior College volleyball team began their season with two victories Friday as the Apache Ladies hosted the Dana Hatch Volleyball Invite at Wagstaff Gymnasium.

TJC took out Colby (Kansas) Community College 3-1 (28-26, 25-21, 20-25, 25-19) first before polishing off Western Texas 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-23).

The Apaches Ladies (2-0) are back in action on Saturday at 11 a.m. against Pensacola, Fla., and 3 p.m. against Missouri State-West Plains.
