
MARYVILLE, Mo. – To start the spring season, the KCKCC men's golf team competed at the Graceland Spring Invitational where they placed fourth out of nine teams. The Blue Devils scored a 622 for the tournament.
Morningside University was the tournament winner with a score of 595, while Southwestern Community College (611) placed second and Hawkeye Community College (615) finished third.
Josh Killingsworth led the Blue Devils with a sixth-place finish at 9-over-par, 153 and Jack Stuckey placed 11th at 11-over-par, 155. Turner Depperschmidt also placed in the top-15 at 14th with a 12-over-par, 156. Josiah Morris and Nate Saporito followed with scores of 14-over-par and 17-over-par placing in 21st and 29th, respectively.
Morningside's Braden Bernaldo placed first with a 2-under-par, 142 to win the tournament.
