The Pratt Community College volleyball team is headed to Vincennes, Ind. this weekend, September 5-6 for the Blazer Classic hosted by Vincennes University. The Beavers will play four opponents across two days. They will open the tournament against the host Vincennes University on Friday, Sep. 5 at 2:00 p.m. and then will match up against Wabash Valley College at 4:00 p.m. to finish day one. On Saturday, Sep. 6 they will play Ellsworth Community College at 9:00 a.m. and then Mineral Area College at 11:00 a.m.  

at Vincennes University 

The Trailblazers of Vincennes University are 5-2 on the year and are 3-0 on their home court. As a team, they average 11.08 kills, 9.84 assists, and 15.16 digs per set. Sophomore Isadora Dias leads the team with 73 digs and 178 total attacks. Laura Tavares leads the team with 75 kills.  

vs. Wabash Valley College 

The Warriors of Wabash Valley College are 3-2 overall and are 1-1 in neutral site games. As a team, they average 6.74 kills, 6.16 assists, and 11.37 digs per set. Ayiana Nieves leads the team with 27 digs and 68 assists.  

vs. Ellsworth Community College 

The Panthers of Ellsworth Community College are 8-3 overall and 5-3 in neutral site games. As a team they average 11.54 kills, 10.78 assists, and 15.86 digs per set. Sophomores Laudine Charron and Elitsa Peneva lead the team with 172 digs and 349 assists, respectively.  

vs. Mineral Area College 

The Cardinals of Mineral Area College enters the weekend with a 3-2 overall record and 2-2 in neutral site matches. As a team they average 12.24 kills, 11.06 assists, 17.47 digs per set. Sophomore Morelia Diaz leads the team with 71 digs while freshman Gabrielle Damborowiski leads the team with 51 kills.  

These are the last matches before the Beavers start conference play on Monday, Sep. 9 on the road at Barton Community College.
