Butler Avenges Loss to Dodge City With Home Win
EL DORADO, Kan. – After falling in five sets in Dodge City earlier this season, Butler volleyball came out and defeated the Conquistadors 3-1 (25-15, 21-25, 25-15, 25-15) at the Power Plant Wednesday evening.

EL DORADO, Kan. – After falling in five sets in Dodge City earlier this season, Butler volleyball came out and defeated the Conquistadors 3-1 (25-15, 21-25, 25-15, 25-15) at the Power Plant Wednesday evening.
Butler won its three sets each by a score of 25-15. The Grizzlies have won two matches in a row and run their conference record to 6-6 while Dodge City moves to 9-3 in league play.
The Grizzlies hit .331 compared to Dodge City's .070 as the Conqs finished with 28 attack errors. The Grizzlies led nearly start to finish in all three sets they won.
Sarah Sullivan finished with a match-high 17 kills to go with seven blocks and five digs. Avery DeLong and Sophia Neihouse each had 10 kills while freshman Ryann Hamilton totaled a match-high 10 blocks. Anja Milosevic finished with 36 assists and nine digs.
Butler returns to the court on Saturday when they travel to Garden City for a 3 p.m. match.
