KJCCC Baseball East Division Players of the Week - Week 1
COLBY, Kan. – Opening their 2025 season with a 3-1 series win over Amarillo College, the Johnson County Community College baseball team was led by the first Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Baseball Players of the Week in 2025 with Easton Roe and Josiah Golden picking up week one honors.
Easton Roe – Johnson County (KJCCC Baseball East Division Player of the Week)
Johnson County first baseman Easton Roe had an amazing start to his sophomore season as the number five-ranked Cavaliers took three of four games over Amarillo College. Roe hit .571 (8-for-14) with two doubles, a triple, four home runs, six runs scored while driving in 10 runs. the sophomore had a home run in three of the four games of the series, including a multi-home run game in game three of the series (18-5 win).
Josiah Golden – Johnson County (KJCCC Baseball East Division Pitcher of the Week)
Johnson County sophomore pitcher Josiah Golden picked up a victory at Amarillo in the Cavaliers' season opener. The right-hander allowed three runs (all unearned), surrendered two hits and struck out five batters over four innings pitched in a 9-3 Cavalier victory.
