KJCCC Baseball East Division Players of the Week - Week 2
COLBY, Kan. – Strong season debuts for Coffeyville’s Nathan Tajchman and Labette’s Connor Brady have led to Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Baseball East Division Player of the Week honors for week two of the 2025 season.
Nathan Tajchman – Coffeyville (KJCCC Baseball East Division Player of the Week)
Red Raven freshman outfielder Nathan Tajchman powered Coffeyville's offense to a four-game sweep over Southwestern Community College to open the 2025 season. Tajchman had a hit in every game going a combined 8 for 12 with four extra-base hits to start the season while scoring twice and driving in seven runs across the four-game slate.
Connor Brady – Labette (KJCCC Baseball East Division Pitcher of the Week)
Brady helped Labette pick up a win in the series final against Arkansas State Mountain Home to allow the Cardinals to split their opening series of the season. Getting the start on the mound, the sophomore threw five scoreless innings and punched out 10 batters to earn his first win of the year as Labette picked up a 5-4 win in seven innings.
