KJCCC Baseball East Division Players of the Week - Week 5
COLBY, Kan. – Big weeks for Fort Scott Community College outfielder Aaron Jamison and Kansas City Kansas starting pitcher Caleb Reed have led to Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference East Division Baseball Player of the Week honors for week five of the 2025 season.
Aaron Jamison – Fort Scott (KJCCC Baseball East Division Player of the Week)
Jamison went 15-for-22 at the plate last week, helping the Greyhounds win all seven games played while driving in 14 runs and scoring 11 runs. Along with a .682 batting average, Jamison had a .704 on-base percentage and a 1.091 slugging percentage with four multi-hit games to end the weekend as Fort Scott swept a four-game series from Iowa Lakes. The sophomore also stole two bases and drew two walks at the plate while fielding all five of his defensive chances cleanly in the outfield.
Caleb Reed – KCKCC (KJCCC Baseball East Division Pitcher of the Week)
Caleb Reed tossed a complete game for Kansas City Kansas in a 10-0 home win against Barton Community College on Saturday, March 1. Allowing just three hits and two walks throughout the six innings pitched, Reed shut out a Cougar offense that entered the game averaging over nine runs per game. Reed also struck out 10 of the 24 batters he faced in the contest.
