Neosho County's Jaret Myers Named NJCAA D1 Baseball Pitcher of the Week
CHARLOTTE, NC – Tossing a complete game and striking out five to help lead Neosho County to a 3-1 win over top 10 nationally ranked Cowley College last week, Panther sophomore Jaret Myers has earned NJCAA Division 1 Baseball Pitcher of the Week accolades to become the third national award winner this baseball season from the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference.

Myers earned his third win of the season after throwing a seven-inning complete game in a 3-1 Neosho County win over number nine-ranked Cowley College. In his outing, Myers allowed just one run and struck out five while holding Cowley to one or fewer runs for just the second time this season in 20 games played for the Tigers. Myers is 3-0 in the season, and 2-0 in KJCCC play with a 2.77 ERA against conference foes.
