KJCCC Division Leaders Ranked In Latest NJCAA Division 1 Baseball Poll
NJCAA Division 1 Baseball Week 4 Poll
CHARLOTTE, NC – Results from Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference play is beginning to create separation among conference schools as three KJCCC teams are ranked in the latest NJCAA Division 1 baseball top 25 poll released on Monday, March 17th.
Two of the teams from the KJCCC in the latest rankings were also featured in last week’s poll in Johnson County and Cowley out of the KJCCC East Division with KJCCC West Division leader Cloud County one of three newcomers to the poll. Johnson County is up one spot to number seven after being ranked eighth last week while Cowley College is unchanged at number nine for a second straight week. Riding an 11-game winning streak to hold a 19-5 overall record and an 8-0 mark in KJCCC West Division play, Cloud County is ranked number 24 in the latest poll with two of their five losses coming to top-ranked Weatherford College.
Non-conference action will take place in the early part of this week with 13 games taking place across the league before eight doubleheaders across the conference on Thursday afternoon that will feature the start of a pair of four-game series between the top two teams in each division (Johnson County vs Cowley, Cloud County vs Barton). Action will continue throughout the weekend with an additional 23 games scheduled between Friday and Sunday across the league.
