Turned in a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds in Barton’s 91-73 road win at No. 5 Cloud County Saturday night. Turkylimaz hit 3 treys in the game as part of Barton’s 15 total. Turkylimaz has 68 3’s this season (2.7 per game). She has a chance to break the single season record at Barton of 81. Turkylimaz has 5 games remaining to reach that mark.

Chelsea scored 10 points, had 6 assists and 4 steals in a win over Highland. She then had a 26 point performance, including 6 3-pointers in a victory over Johnson County. Also in the game verses Johnson County Chelsea chipped in with 7 rebounds and 6 assists. In her third game of the week she had 15 points, 4 assists and 4 steals in a loss at Fort Scott. She was also a combined 16-18 from the free throw line in these 3 games. Chelsea is among the Eastern Division leaders in several categories including scoring and steals.

Meghan Waggoner had a solid week for the Cavaliers. She had 13 points, six rebounds and two assists in a road loss at Independence, and followed with 12 points, seven rebounds, four assists and a steal in a 20-point road win over Allen County.

Freshman Tegan Cunningham led the No. 3-ranked Lady Saints in their low-scoring dominating victory over Hutchinson C.C. in the Sports Arena. Cunningham and Seward County held the Lady Blue Dragons to the programs second-lowest scoring effort in the history of their program (24 points). The only time Hutchinson had scored fewer points was in the programs first-ever game on Dec. 11, 1974 (17 points vs. Cloud County C.C.).

Cunningham is the leading scorer for No. 3 Seward County (16.1 ppg.) and the leading rebounder (9.1 rpg.). Cunningham has posted five 20-point scoring efforts this season.
