COLBY, Kan. – For the third time this season and the first time in three weeks, the Seward County Community College men’s soccer team has swept the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 1 Men’s Soccer Player of the Week honors with Felipe Flores and Miguel Kwiatkowski earning their first honors of the season.

Felipe Flores (Seward County) – Freshman forward Felipe Cooper Flores has been one of the Saints' top goal scorers in the 2024 season and continued his success on the field with a 1-0 win over Garden City where he scored the lone goal of the match. In a true defensive battle through the first 85:00 minutes, a foul inside of the box resulted in a penalty kick attempt for Flores who stepped up and cashed in to give the Saints their first goal and the win.

Miguel Kwiatkowski (Seward County) – Miguel Kwiatkowski stepped up in his first career start and did not disappoint as he shut out the Garden City Broncbusters in a 1-0 win for Seward County. In his 90:00 minutes of action, he made multiple remarkable saves to end the night with a new career high of 8 to earn his first career win with the Saints.
