COLBY, Kan. – Two wins last week to conclude the regular season including a road victory over a ranked opponent for Neosho County Community College were led by the final Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 2 Men’s Soccer Player of the Week award winners Paul Eder and Grant Thackray.

Paul Eder (Neosho County) – Paul scored three goals and assisted one as Neosho County went 2-0-0 to conclude the regular season. Eder scored against Hesston and added one assist and added two goals against number 15 Heartland. Paul posted seven points on the week and helped the Panthers to two wins to finish the regular season with a 14-1-2 overall record.

Grant Thackray (Neosho County) – Thackray played the first half in number five Neosho County's first match of the week and kept a clean opening half against Hesston as the Panthers went on to win the match 7-1 and conclude an unbeaten KJCCC slate. The sophomore then played all 90 minutes against number 15 ranked Heartland Community College and made five saves against six shots on goal to help NCCC win 3-1 and end the regular season with a 14-1-2 overall record. Thackray leads KJCCC D2 men's soccer in save percentage (.845) and goals against average (0.88) while ranking sixth nationally in save percentage and 12th in goals against average.
