CHARLOTTE, NC – After earning Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 1 Men's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week honors on Tuesday, Dodge City Community College goalie Giovanni De Luna has become the third KJCCC Division 1 men’s soccer goalkeeper to earn NJCAA Division 1 Men's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week this season by earning national accolades in week nine.

De Luna helped Dodge City pick up a win over Western Texas in non-conference action on the road along with a tie against Seward County in conference play last week. After blanking Seward County with multiple clutch saves late despite the Conquistadors playing a man down in the second half, De Luna finished with seven saves in against the Saints. In the road win over Western Texas, De Luna added another seven saves to finish the week with 14 saves.
