JCCC freshman Chrstianna Tran netted three goals and
assisted on two others to lead her Lady Cavaliers to a
7-3 victory over Cloud County in both team’s season
openers. Her second goal proved to be the game winner.

scoring three of Barton’s four goals and an assist on
the fourth goal.

Aisling Dyer was phenomenal in the opening weekend for
the Grizzlies. In a 1-0 overtime loss at nationally
ranked Iowa Western Dyer recorded five saves before
conceding a goal in the 97th minute. In a 4-2 victory
over Illinois Central Dyer played 83 minutes and let in
one goal at the end of the first half. She recorded 3
saves before being replaced for the final seven minutes
of the match.
