Sophomore Bianca Barron accounted for six of the Lady Cougars’ ten goals this past week in two Barton victories.  Barron’s five goals against Dodge City came in the first half as the Lady Cougars pounded the Conquistadors to a 7-0 halftime advantage.  The five-goal feat marked the third time Barron has scored five goals in her career and vaulted her to fourth all-time in Barton history.   Last Week's Stats

Gurjinder Brar helped the Panthers to a 1-0-1 record on the week with his great play in goal. He started his week posting his 2nd career shutout as he stopped all 5 shots in faced in the Panthers 5-0 win at Independence. Saturday playing on the road again, he stopped five of the 7 shots Cowley attempted as the Panthers earned a draw.   Last Week's Stats

Sophomore Stephanie Lomas is quietly developing into a solid goalkeeper and is a big reason why the Lady Cougars are off to a 6-0 conference start.  Lomas recorded her third and fourth shutout of the season making four saves on four shots on goal.  Her value in goal is not always evident in statistics as her decision making and directing an inexperienced defensive line throughout the season has thwarted numerous scoring opportunities preventing shots on goal.   Last Week's Stats

Soriba “Ebu” Camara’s accounted for six of the Cougars seven goals this past week in a pair of narrow conference victories.  In the Cougars’ 3-2 victory at Dodge City, Camara recorded his first career hat trick on four shots on goal.  On Sunday against Allen, Camara followed his Dodge City performance with two goals and one assist in Barton’s 4-2 victory.  Camara continues his constant threat against opponents as he works his way into the top five in multiple categories of Barton’s all-time career lists.    Last Week's Stats
