Even though the Cougars lost two games to two highly nationally ranked teams, Barton Community College goalkeeper Mauricio Vargas had tremendous effort in goal.   Facing thirty-five shots on goal over the weekend in Dallas, Texas, Vargas saved eighty-six percent of the scoring attempts.  Against No. 3 Tyler Junior College, Vargas made an astounding twenty-five saves in a ninety-ninth minute extra time 1-0 loss.   Last Week's Stats
