Outdoor track and field season is underway and our week three of KJCCC Athletes of the Week honors have been awarded. 

MEN'S TRACK Athlete of the Week
Siyabonga Mokgothu (Cloud County) – Was the top collegiate runner in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the Emporia State Relays posting a time of 9:15.01 which is fifth in the NJCAA. 

MEN'S FIELD Athlete of the Week
Chris Johnson (Hutchinson) – Won the pole vault at the Broncbuster Invite with a vault of 5.00 meters (16'04.75"). The mark is a personal record and currently ranks #1 in the NJCAA, while also qualifying him for nationals.
