Outdoor track and field season is underway and our week five of KJCCC Athletes of the Week honors have been awarded. 

MEN'S TRACK Athlete of the Week
David Thid (Hutchinson) – He took first at the KT Woodman Classic in Wichita in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 51.48 and broke the school record. The mark ranks #1 in the NJCAA.   

MEN'S FIELD Athlete of the Week
Oagen Mdlela (Cloud County) – He won the triple jump with a leap of 15.28 meters at the KT Woodman Classic in Wichita. He qualified for NJCAA Nationals with his performance.
