Eight KJCCC Men's Indoor Track & Field Teams Featured In First USTFCCCA NJCAA Rankings Index
USTFCCCA 2025 NJCAA Men's Indoor Track & Field Poll #1
NEW ORLEANS, La. – Eight Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference men’s track and field teams have earned a ranking inside the top 25 of the first United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association NJCAA Men’s Indoor Track and Field Rating Index of 2025.
Released on Tuesday, January 28th, the KJCCC has two teams ranked inside the top 10 and four teams in the top 15 with Barton the highest-ranked conference team with 121.01 points as the top five teams in the rankings come from either NJCAA Region 11 (Iowa) or NJCAA Region 5 (West Texas/New Mexico). One spot back of Barton is Coffeyville in seventh with 116.07 points with Fort Scott the next team from the KJCCC coming in at number 13 with 59.67 points to be ranked ahead of Garden City who is 14th with 57.02 points.
Just outside the top 15 is Hutchinson in 16th with 49.65 points while Butler (18th, 47.27 points), Highland (19th, 45.53 points), and Dodge City (20th, 45.03 points) are all inside the top 20 of the initial poll. No other NJCAA Region has more than four teams ranked in the poll as the KJCCC makes up over 30 percent of the top 25 teams in the poll.
The USTFCCCA NJCAA Men’s Indoor Track and Field Ratings Index will be released each Tuesday throughout the remainder of the season. Six weeks of rankings will be released prior to the final results, which will be published at the conclusion of the 2025 NJCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, which will take place March 7-8 in Lubbock, Texas.
