KJCCC Men's Indoor Track & Field Up To Nine Teams In Top 25 Of Latest USTFCCCA NJCAA Rankings Index
USTFCCCA 2025 NJCAA Men's Indoor Track & Field Poll #2
NEW ORLEANS, La. – Making up over 35 percent of the latest United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association NJCAA Men’s Indoor Track and Field Rating Index of 2025, the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference has an NJCAA Region-high nine schools ranked in the top 25 of the second set of rankings.
Released on Tuesday, February 4th, the KJCCC continues to have two teams ranked inside the top 10 and with five teams ranked in the top 15 after having four top 15 teams ranked in the first poll of the season. Barton is the highest-ranked conference team with 117.56 points as the top five teams in the rankings are from either NJCAA Region 11 (Iowa) or NJCAA Region 5 (West Texas/New Mexico) for a second-straight week. Falling three spots this week down to 10th is Coffeyville as the Red Ravens are ranked 10th with 86.66 points to sit two spots ahead of Garden City who makes a two-spot improvement up to 12th with 73.71 points. Hutchinson also made a two-spot jump from last week and is now ranked 14th with 62.38 points, one spot ahead of Fort Scott who comes in this week at number 15 with 58.27 points.
Butler is the next-highest ranked team from the KJCCC by coming in 19th with 36.06 points before seeing three of the final four teams in this week’s top 25 come from the conference with Colby leading the group in 22nd with 31.69 points. Just behind the Trojans in 23rd is Cloud County (30.84 points) followed by Cowley (30.74 points) in 24th as all three teams are making their first appearance of the season inside the top 25.
The USTFCCCA NJCAA Men’s Indoor Track and Field Ratings Index will be released each Tuesday throughout the remainder of the season. Six weeks of rankings will be released prior to the final results, which will be published at the conclusion of the 2025 NJCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, which will take place March 7-8 in Lubbock, Texas.
