COLBY, Kan. – Earning a second-place finish and recording the third-best mark in the NJCAA this season in the javelin, Cloud County Community College freshman Andrew Bowman has been named Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week.

Andrew Bowman finished second in the javelin with a throw of 60.81 meters to set a new personal best mark with the third best mark in the NJCAA this season to qualify for NJCAA Outdoor Championships in his first meet at a Thunderbird.
