KJCCC Kansas MTXE Women's Basketball Athletes of the Week, Week 12, 2017-18

Ericka Mattingly averaged 20 points per game in leading the Butler women to a pair of victories, including a road win over #14 Hutchinson on Saturday, Butler's first win at Hutchinson since 2007. She had 21 points and six rebounds in the win with three assists, three steals and a blocked shot. On Wednesday, Mattingly just missed a triple-double as she had 19 points, 12 rebounds and eight steals, as well as five assists and a blocked shot against Dodge City. Mattingly was 18-24 at the free throw line for the week.

Marianne Caravalho had a double-double in leading the #3-ranked Highland Scotties to a big Region VI win  over #11 Labette, 96-74. Caravalho had 35 points and 10 rebounds along with 4 assists and 2 steals. She also had 22 points and 9 rebounds in their 85-43 win over Region VI opponent Fort Scott. She also chipped in 5 assists, 2 steals and a block.
