LaKya Leslie recorded a pair of double-doubles last week to help the T-Birds split a pair of games in their opening week of KJCCC play. Against Garden City, Leslie would score a team-best 15 points and grab a game-high 13 rebounds to help CCCC overcome a 10-point deficit in the final 12 minutes of action to win 62-58 on the road. Leslie would follow up the performance by scoring 10 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in an 82-59 loss to Seward County to record her fourth and fifth double-doubles of the year while extending her streak to four straight games with a double-double.
