(KJCCC) April 29, 2021 – KJCCC East champion Butler placed two players on the 2021 All-Region 6 Division I women's basketball first team released today.
On the Division II side, both Johnson County and Kansas City KS had two selections on the all-region first team.
Johnson County had Jaylen Townsend and Lajahda Boyland on the first team, while KCK had Aliyah Myers and Tiaira Earnest on the squad.
The All-Region team is made up of all-conference performers, with the All-KJCCC East and All-KJCCC West athletes under consideration.
Butler was led by sophomores Tamara Nard and Skyla Knight in the all-region first team voting. The 1st team also featured Sierra Morrow of Seward County, Coffeyville's Faith Simpson, and Queen Ulabo from Barton.
Division I had three teams of selections, while Division II had two teams.
