KJCCC DI Women's Basketball Player of the Week - Week 4

Freddie Wallace, the Grizzlies true freshman forward from Lincoln, Nebraska was an absolute force in the Grizzlies two wins this past week. Wallace started her big week on Tuesday against Northwest Tech where dominated the paint, dropping in 19 points on an efficient 8/12 shooting mark. Wallace was also effective on the defensive end for the Grizzlies in the game as she was second on the team with three steals and had one of the teams three blocks in the game. Wallace's bigger performance came on Saturday against at Pratt where she could not be stopped. Wallace poured in 30 points, by far the most of any player in the game. Wallace also controlled the glass on both ends pulling down 11 rebounds in total with six offensive boards and five defensive boards. Wallace averaged a monster 24.5 points on the week and an impressive 7 rebounds. Wallace is the leading scorer and rebounder on the season for the Grizzlies who improved to 8-0 on the young season and are the only team in the Jayhawk Conference to remain undefeated this season.
