Hutchinson's Hailey Jackson Named NJCAA Division 1 Women's Basketball Player of the Week
CHARLOTTE, NC – After earning her Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honors on Tuesday, Hutchinson Community College forward Hailey Jackson has been named NJCAA Division 1 Women’s Basketball National Player of the Week for week seven of the 2024-25 season.

Blue Dragon sophomore forward Hailey Jackson had a pair of big games for top-ranked Hutchinson as part of a 2-0 week with wins over Garden City and Cloud County. For the week, Jackson averaged 24.0 points per game while shooting 56.0 percent overall and five-of-nine from the foul line in addition to grabbing 9.0 rebounds per game. Against Garden City, Jackson had 25 points and went a perfect 12-for-12 from the foul line, including three free throws to tie and take the lead with 1.5 seconds remaining in a 46-45 win. Against Cloud County, Jackson had her fifth double-double of the season with 23 points and 10 rebounds in a 77-53 road victory.
