Hutchinson's Hailey Jackson Named NJCAA Division 1 Women's Basketball Player of the Week
CHARLOTTE, NC – For the second time this season and nearly two months to the day of her first honor, Hutchinson Community College forward Hailey Jackson has been named NJCAA Division 1 Women’s Basketball National Player of the Week after earning national accolades for Week 13 of the 2024-25 season.

Hutchinson sophomore forward Hailey Jackson averaged 27 points per game and joined the Blue Dragon career Top 10 scorers in a pair of victories last week. Jackson averaged 8.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists as number eight Hutchinson defeated Garden City and Cloud County. Against Garden City, Jackson scored a career-high 32 points on 11-of-14 shooting with eight rebounds in a 66-53 road win at Garden City. With that performance, Jackson moved into the Career Scoring Top 10. Two days later, Jackson had 22 points and nine rebounds to lift the Dragons to a 71-66 home win over Cloud County and continues to lead the KJCCC in scoring at 18.6 points per game.
