Highland's Cameron McNamara Named NJCAA Division 2 Women's Basketball Player of the Week
CHARLOTTE, NC – After earning her sixth Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 2 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honor of the season, Highland Community College sophomore Cameron McNamara has earned her first NJCAA Division 2 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honor after her performance during the week of February 3-9.

McNamara was dominant in Highland's only contest of the week, picking up the third triple-double recorded in program history, with 26 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 steals against number 23 Neosho County. The current KJCCC leader in scoring (20.3 points per game), McNamara also leads the conference in total blocks (57) and made field goals (188) while ranking fourth nationally in field goals, eighth in total scoring (468 points), and ninth in total blocks.
