KJCCC Women's Basketball Players of the Week - Week 5

Jolie Mantz – Garden City (KJCCC Division 1 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Mantz helped the Broncbuster with a pair of 40+ point victories last week as Garden City defeated Fort Hays Tech Northwest 87-47 and Colby 87-46. Totaling 51 points across the two games, Mantz scored 17 points against Fort Hays Tech Northwest Tuesday before breaking the GCCC single-game 3-point record on Saturday against Colby with 10 triples of her own as part of a 34-point outing against the Trojans.
Samaire Slusarek – Kansas City Kansas (KJCCC Division 2 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Slusarek averaged a double-double this past week to lead KCKCC to a pair of wins over Metropolitan CC and Southeast CC. Scoring 37 points and grabbing 20 rebounds, Slusarek shot 64.7 percent (11-17) from the field on Wednesday against Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley and finished the game with a season-high 26 points.
