(KJCCC) December 7, 2022 – Northwest Tech Wrestler Jameel Coles (184lbs) went 4-0 at the Doane Conner/Oppenheim Open in Crete, NE.

In Round 1, Jameel Coles won over 2x California State Champ, Nathan Haas (Nebraska University) by Decision 5-3. In the Quarterfinals, Coles won over the 2021 NAIA Runner-up at 184lbs, Tyson Beauperthuy (Ranked #2 NAIA) (Grand View (Iowa)) by Decision 5-4. 

In the Semifinals, Jameel beat Brett Bober (Baker (Kan.)) by Technical Fall 20-2 (4:00). In the 1st Place Match, Coles won over the 2022 NAIA Runner-up at 184lbs, Ben Lee (Ranked #3 NAIA) (Grand View (Iowa)) by Decision 5-4.
