2024 KJCCC Division 1 Women's Soccer Players of the Week - Week 4
COLBY, Kan. – Butler Community College forward London Ingram and Kansas City Kansas Community College goalkeeper Maria Heuman have been named Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 1 Women’s Soccer Players of the Week for week four of the 2024 season.
COLBY, Kan. – Butler Community College forward London Ingram and Kansas City Kansas Community College goalkeeper Maria Heuman have been named Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 1 Women’s Soccer Players of the Week for week four of the 2024 season.
London Ingram (Butler) –Ingram continues to lead the goal-scoring charge for the Grizzlies as the freshman scored a pair of goals in each of the two Butler wins. BCCC started their week with a 4-3 road win over #14 Cowley before earning a 6-0 win home score vs Garden City with Ingram helping bring the Grizzlies back from an early 2-0 deficit at Cowley. Following up the win in the ranked matchup, Ingram scored the game-winner vs Garden City as she scored her team's first and last goal of the match. Ingram now has seven goals and two assists, scoring a goal in five of Butler's seven matches.
Marie Heuman (KCKCC) –Heuman has let up just one goal so far this season in the seven games that have been played by the number nine-ranked Blue Devils. This past week, Heuman saw five shots on target against Barton and turned away all five as KCKCC went on to win 3-0. Heuman is a pivotal reason why the Blue Devils lead the KJCCC in goals allowed this season (1) as Heuman has posted two shutouts and ranks 10th in the NJCAA in save percentage (.941) and goals against average (0.16).
