Final NJCAA Women's Soccer Polls Of Regular Season Features Five KJCCC Teams
CHARLOTTE, NC – The final NJCAA Division 1 and 2 women’s soccer polls of the regular season have been released with five Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference teams featured in the polls released on Monday, October 28th.

CHARLOTTE, NC – The final NJCAA Division 1 and 2 women’s soccer polls of the regular season have been released with five Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference teams featured in the polls released on Monday, October 28th.
Just two changes total in the rankings for KJCCC schools are part of the latest polls as Johnson County remains the lone KJCCC representative in the NJCAA Division 2 Women’s Soccer poll by holding the number two ranking after finishing off an unbeaten regular season last week to hold a 14-0-3 record heading into postseason play. Kansas City Kansas moves up one spot in the latest NJCAA Division 1 Women’s Soccer poll up to seventh after also completing an unbeaten regular season by earning wins over Cowley Community College and Garden City Community College last week to earn a share of the KJCCC Division 1 women’s soccer regular season title.
Butler holds steady in the NJCAA D1 rankings by remaining 11th after winning their only game of the week last week by defeating Dodge City 4-1 to earn a share of the KJCCC regular season title as the Grizzlies will enter the NJCAA Division 1 Plains District Tournament as the number two seed. Other KJCCC teams ranked in this week’s NJCAA Division 1 Women’s Soccer Top-20 poll include number 14 Hutchinson as the Blue Dragons moved up two spots from last week while Cowley Community College remains 19th after falling to Kansas City Kansas and earning a road draw at Hutchinson to conclude their regular season with a fourth-place finish in the KJCCC Division 1 women’s soccer standings.
Postseason play for both NJCAA Division 1 and Division 2 teams within the KJCCC are set to get underway this week as the NJCAA Division 2 Region 6/9 Tournament will begin on Thursday, October 31st with number two ranked Johnson County hosting Allen at 4 PM and Neosho County heading north to Region 9 school Central Community College for a 2 PM kickoff in Columbus, Nebraska. The 2024 NJCAA Division 1 Women’s Soccer Plains District Tournament is set to start on Friday, November 1st as top-seed Kansas City Kansas Community College hosts Garden City at 5 PM with the remaining three opening round games set for Sunday, November 3rd. Sunday’s matches will see number two seed Butler host seventh seeded Seward County at 1 PM, number three seed Hutchinson host six seed Dodge City at 2 PM and fourth-seeded Cowley host five seed Barton at 2 PM.
