Seven KJCCC Women's Soccer Teams Featured In NJCAA Week 1 Soccer Rankings
CHARLOTTE, NC - The latest NJCAA Women's Soccer rankings feature seven Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference schools including three ranked in the top-10 of their respective polls released on Tuesday, September 3rd.

CHARLOTTE, NC - The latest NJCAA Women's Soccer rankings feature seven Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference schools including three ranked in the top 10 of their respective polls released on Tuesday, September 3rd.
Of the seven ranked teams from the KJCCC, six are ranked with one school receiving votes as the KJCCC makes up four of the top 20 along with one team receiving votes in the NJCAA Division 1 Women's Soccer poll. The conference also has two teams featured in the top 20 of the NJCAA Division 2 Women's Soccer poll including their highest ranked team, number-four ranked Johnson County Community College. Also ranked in the NJCAA Division 2 Women's Soccer poll is number 18-ranked Neosho County Community College as the Panthers remain in the rankings after appearing in the preseason rankings while getting off to a 1-1-0 start to their season.
In the Division 1 Women's Soccer poll, Cowley has moved up one spot from their preseason ranking of 10th to ninth while Butler has made a two-spot jump up to 10th after starting their season 2-0-1 with a draw against fifth-ranked Seminole State. Kansas City Kansas is also on the rise in the latest rankings, moving from 15th in the preseason poll to 12th after winning each of their first four games of the year while outscoring opponents 22-0 through the first two weeks of the season. The conference also has 18th-ranked Hutchinson Community College who is off to a 2-0-1 start and Barton Community College receiving votes following a 1-1-1 start to their season.
A couple of big matchups for conference schools come this week as D2 number four ranked Johnson County plays host to D2 number eight ranked Iowa Central on Wednesday afternoon while D1 number 10-ranked Butler heads to D1 number 12-ranked Kansas City Kansas for a conference matchup. Butler will then have a second matchup against a ranked foe this week on Saturday when the Grizzlies host number 18 Hutchinson at BG Products Veterans Sports Complex for a 7 PM tilt to close out a seven-match day for conference schools.
