KJCCC Women's Track & Field Athletes of the Week - Outdoor Week 6

Outdoor track and field season week six of KJCCC Athletes of the Week have been awarded.
WOMEN'S TRACK Athlete of the Week
Shareen Cheruiyot (Garden City) - Despite dealing with rough wind conditions, Cheruiyot won the 5k with a time of 18:51.79 at the Tabor College Invite. It marks the first time she had broken the 19 minute barrier in her career as well as setting a school record with her national qualifying performance.
WOMEN'S FIELD Athlete of the Week
Kelsie Murrell-Ross (Barton) - At the OU John Jacobs Invitational recorded a throw 16.00m in the shot put; the throw ranks third all-time in Barton schoool history and ninth all-time NJCAA.
