Indoor track and field season is underway and week four of KJCCC Athletes of the Week have been awarded. 

WOMEN'S TRACK Athlete of the Week
Miracle Thompson (Cloud County) – She won the 60m hurdles (8.35) and 60m dash (7.48) at the Herm Wilson Invite hosted by Wichita State. She broke the school record in the hurdles and currently ranks #1 in the NJCAA in the event, while ranking third in 60m dash in the NJCAA.  

WOMEN'S FIELD Athlete of the Week
Vanessa Mercera (Cloud County) – She finished second in the pentathlon at the Herm Wilson Invite hosted by Wichita State. She broke the school record with 3,523 points in the pentathlon and owns the best performance in the NJCAA in the pentathlon.
