KJCCC Women's Track & Field Athletes of the Week - Indoor Week 1

Indoor track and field season is underway and our week one of KJCCC Athletes of the Week honors have been awarded. 

WOMEN'S TRACK Athlete of the Week
Kayveonna Jackson (Butler) – She won the 60-meter run with a time of 7.57 at the Friends University First Chance Qualifier and then finished second in the same event at the Graduate Classic at Nebraska with time of 7.53. She also won the 200-meter run at Nebraska with a time of 24.83. She ranks third in NJCAA in both events. 

WOMEN'S FIELD Athlete of the Week
Treneese Hamiliton (Barton) – She posted pair of national qualifying marks in the shot put (14.41m) and weight throw (16.36m) at the Stan Scott Memorial Invite hosted by Texas Tech. She finished sixth and fifth in the events, respectively. Her mark in the shot put currently ranks #1 in the NJCAA.
