KJCCC Women's Track & Field Athletes of the Week - Indoor Week 2

Indoor track and field season is underway and our week two of KJCCC Athletes of the Week honors have been awarded. 

WOMEN'S TRACK Athlete of the Week
Rafiatu Nuhu (Cloud County) - She qualified for NJCAA Indoor Nationals in three events at t the Rust Buster Classic at Washburn. Individually she placed second in the 200-meters (24.75) and 400-meters (56.20), while also being a part of the 4x400 meter relay team that posted a time of 3:54.89 to qualify for nationals. 

WOMEN'S FIELD Athlete of the Week
Tamara Thompson (Cloud County) - She qualifieid for NJCAA Indoor Nationals in a pair of events at the Rust Buster Classic at Washburn, qualifying in weight throw (15.02m) and shot put (12.64m). Her marks in both events are Top 10 in the NJCAA.
